Palmetto Politics: Jimmie Williamson, who has spent a career in the S.C. Technical College System and served as its head for the last two years, will be the next president of North Carolina’s community college system.
Also recently, S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley received the Hammer and Trowel Award from the Home Builders Association of South Carolina late last month. It is given annually to “the person who has shown the greatest positive impact on the state’s housing industry that year,” according to the association.
